Unfortunately (though for good reasons), a guided tour in the major Vermeer exhibition that the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam organized in 2023, was not possible. But we can explore the art of and around Johannes Vermeer, in his time and also (but not only) in Delft<\/a>, on a tour of the Rijksmuseum’s permanent collection. What genres of painting were around when he created his masterpieces, what could residential houses look like inside, in what way were they actually painted, what may have influenced Vermeer’s work? This and more can be discovered to broaden our view of Vermeer. <\/p>\n

Rijksmuseum tours take place in small groups of 1 to 12 people max.
